• Overall, 53.1% of matches were finished by submission in regulation time. Submissions in overtime accounted for 8.5%, that’s 61.6% of all the AVA Vancouver 2024 matches ended with submission!

• The Adults division showed a similar trend, with submissions in regulation slightly higher at 53.9%. Overtime submissions were 9.7% of the matches, that’s 63.6% of adult matches ended in submission.

• In the Youths division, submissions in regulation were at 52.6%, and overtime submissions at 4.4%, resulting in 57% of youth matches ending in submission.
