Origins debuted as AVA’s youth exclusive tournament, with plans to expand to 18+ in future seasons. With 66.5% of matches ending by submission in regulation and 8.1% in overtime, nearly 3 out of 4 matches ended in a finish. Remaining outcomes included fastest escape at 18.3%, with walkovers, decisions, and disqualifications each under 3%.

Gi Youth and Nogi Youth both produced strong submission numbers. Nogi Youth finished slightly higher at 67.6% in regulation, with Gi Youth close behind at 61%.

The Rise Title Qualifiers showed even stronger finishing rates. Gi Rise closed at 73.3% and Nogi Rise at 92.9%, meaning nearly every match in those brackets ended with a tap. No Rise matches required a referee’s decision.

At 74.6% combined submission rate, Origins cleared the 2025 season average of 70.1% and came in just shy of Legends at 75.8%, placing it among the top finishing events of the season.
